The 2019 Street Series SW concluded on Sunday with another action-packed day at Mount Hawke. Over 50 riders got gnarly in the bowl, street and boxes in BMX, scootering and skateboarding.
On the bikes, Dead Sailor and Roots were well represented with Fraizer Devine (5-15yr) and Aaron Wilson securing an individual double success for Dead Sailor. In the team standings, Roots (5-15yr) and Cornwall Boys (16-21yr) topped the box.
Also on two wheels, there was a really close competition in the 5-15yr scootering bracket with Maxwell Jackson edging Jonah Jackson and Remy Korman in the top three. Cornwall Boys were the leading team.
The skateboard competition really caught fire with some series regulars and newbies pushing each other to new limits. Junkyard’s Lola T showed what girls are made of, taking a well-deserved victory. She was followed by Roots’ Laneon Belasco and Mount Hawke’s own Joss Bellamy. Junkyard also topped the team standings. Full results are below.
For the overall series, Fraizer Devine (5-15yr) and Brandon Docking (16-21yr) finished as BMX champions. Luke Green and Dec Collier (Prime) finished top in the 5-15 and 16-21 classes. In the skateboarding, Peter Gordon finished as series winner for the 5-15yr class.
134 competitors took part in the series across five rounds at Mount Hawke (rd 1& rd 5), Lodge (rd 2), Junkyard (rd 3) and Prime (Schools rd 4).
